About Us

About the Fitzroy Square Frontagers' and Garden Committee.

How the Garden is Managed

The Fitzroy Square Frontagers’ and Garden Committee (FSFGC) is an unincorporated association. It oversees the square’s central garden and the architectural heritage of its terraces – and has done so for over 200 years.

A Frontager is any person who lives or works in a building that fronts Fitzroy Square. FSFGC comprises representatives of each of the properties that fronts the square.

An annual garden levy is collected from Frontager residents, businesses and institutions. Those funds, along with voluntary donations, are used to maintain the garden and wider amenity of the square.

Garden Access

The garden is a private space, accessed via gates at the north and south sides of the square. Frontagers who pay the garden levy are provided with keys to access the garden.

During the summer months, the garden is opened to the public at lunchtimes on selected weekdays.
