Public access is discretionary and managed by the Frontagers’ Committee. The garden remains closed on weekends and public holidays.


Garden Rules

To preserve the tranquility and heritage of the square, all visitors must observe the following rules:

  • No Dogs allowed
  • No Smoking or Vaping
  • No Ball Games
  • No Amplified Music
  • No Pigeon Feeding
  • No Commercial Filming without prior permission from the Committee

Accessibility

The garden is accessible via a level entrance from the pavement on the east side of the square. The garden paths are gravel-surfaced and may be uneven in places.

  • Level entrance from the pavement at the north side of Fitzroy Square
  • No steps to the main garden area
  • Limited seating available on benches within the garden
  • Blue Badge parking available on surrounding streets

  • Great Portland Street — Circle, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan lines (4 min walk)

By Bus

Routes 10, 24, 29, 73, and 134 stop on Tottenham Court Road (5 min walk).
